I have a 4x4 tiled terrain on which I’ve been placing roads using splines. I noticed I had a spline that went outside the bounds of a terrain tile. I’d like to delete the spline, but I am unable to select it anymore. When I click on the spline (inside or outside the landscape bounds) all that happens is the output log generates the entry “Clicking on Actor (LMB): LandscapeProxy”
Something you can try in this case,
→ Go to Build and down at the bottom there should be something called MapCheck
Do the check. If it works it will show a error something with landscape and spline in it.
At the end of the error line you can click on fix this.
We have run into the same issue but map check is not finding the orphaned spline actors, as far as I can tell you can only delete these orphaned splines through the map check error? Is there any other way to delete orphaned splines?
Same problem here. As you can see on the screenshot, the spline as been deleted but the mesh is still here. Not as a spline component and not a static mesh so I can’t delete it. I need a solution which doesn’t mean to rollback to a very very old save.
