5.2 project converted to 5.3. I have a train animated on a spline (basic actor with spline component) in a level sequence. In 5.2 it animates in editor and build everything is fine.
The project over in 5.3 (need it for the nanite VR optimizations in 5.3) the spline falls back to default 2 points 1m apart ignoring all my spline edits in BUILD (works fine in UE).
HELP !!!
Is there anything I can do to force UE to keep the spline as it is?
I distribute a lot of other things on splines throughout my scene, I assume more than one spline is broken. Also the train spline has hundreds of vertices with scale values too I just can’t redraw it and see if that works.
Oh god, many splines are shifted to the origin or reset in shape throughout my city sized scene on build. I hate my life, looks like an Unreal 5.3 bug.
Anything I can do to “freeze” the splines upon build?
Please help.
