Splatmap low quality problem when i start the project

Hi everyone i am encountering a problem when i open my project, i used the landscape material of unreal sensei, and everything was working fine, but i noticed that when i opened the project, the splatmaps woul lose quality, as you can see in the photos is like the landscape is loosing polygons and the splatmap cannot be loaded correctly, when i refresh one of the splatmaps everyting turns bakc to normality but when i package the project it is the same again so i need to find a way for this to not happen again. Please does anyone knows what can i do to solve this?

It could be a confirmed bug. Try the workaround mentioned in this thread.

It’s an engine “feature” that has been with the engine since always.
I doubt there is any fix to it other than removing mips and loosing performance.
The mips are updated at runtime. It starts with your lowest and loads in the more detailed ones as memory becomes avaliable/loaded.

Essentially, its a core engine failiure due to some ancient rendring pipeline choiches.

Would love to see a fix.
But fixing your mips, or using a different engine is also a fix :wink:
