Spent 5 minutes searching fab, already have suggestions to majorly improve the web site.

So, everyone knows Unreal Marketplace / fab isn’t really good if you want to search for assets.

  1. I noticed i can’t search the name of a publisher and find their assets.
  2. When i finally find publishers that delivers assets that i like, I can’t follow them.
  3. I can’t find a way to save / wishlist assets i might want in the future.
  4. I can’t read the reviews for the assets, which means that i won’t be reading the pro’s / con’s of assets that others like / dislike about the product.
  5. I couldn’t see any indication of a tag search. For example if i want to make an anime style game then i would like to use tag for: Character model and anime to reduce the results that pops out.
Because if i search anime character i seem to get results of ALL character models and Anime themed assets. It’s just terrible. So tags are needed based on what you’re looking for. 3D vs 2D. Characters, terrain, weather etc.
    Realistic, stylized, anime, cartoon etc.
    Animation, rigged etc.
Make all publishers fill out these tags and have someone approve them so people don’t mark all in hopes of popping up through every search.
  6. Bring back questions and replies between consumer and publishers.

I would expect a 12 year old to make a more search friendly website than this, it’s honestly a little embarrassing.

Some stuff you said is planned in upcoming releases, but we all agree that as is things are pretty bad.

That’s a roadmap i can get behind.
I noticed higher resolution of pictures as a part of the plan, but i didn’t see anything about being able to click on the picture to get a fullscreen size of it. For someone like me who probably should have upgraded my glasses 4-5 years ago, I can’t see details too well at the current size. So fullscreen would be appreciated. Hopefully this will get added to the roadmap.

hello
you can right click on the image and open it in a new window, you will have it in full screen and in the format downloaded by the seller.

I know, but it would be nice if i didn’t have to open every single picture in a new tab and switch back and forth. It’s not really a feature they should prioritize considering how much that needs to be done, but it would be a nice and quite basic feature most people would expect.
