SpeedTree animations pausing for a long time between loops

So I’ve had this happening since I started using SpeedTree and I’ve been unable to solve it - in SpeedTree the wind will constantly be moving the trees around, which looks great. But when I import it into UE it plays the wind animation for maybe 10 seconds then stops for a minute. Anyone know how to fix this?


It sounds like your tree has gusting on it (which will randomly increase the wind strength occasionally), but you don’t have a wind actor in your scene to provide steady wind. Be sure to add a WindDirectionalSource object and set the strength to 0.25 of so for steady wind.
