Speed tree trouble

I can’t seem to figure out what is causing this problem. It seems to having something to do with the shadows but even disabling them doesn’t help. The leaves are a custom mesh that and has a 2nd UV channel for lighting. The tree farthest from the camera is a full tree and the one closer is a tree with only two leaves. The directional light is dynamic but I have tried making it static and stationary. I’ve also adjust the light map resolution to each extreme. Can’t seem to get to the bottom of it.

Hello,

Would you be willing to send your tree and the meshes you’re using so we can take a look at what’s going on? If so, send them to support@.com.

Thanks.

Thank you, I just sent the details over. Let me know if there’s anything I forgot.

Thank you for you awesome costumer service. This helped a tremendous amount.

  1. On the Meshes tab I flipped the normals on the mesh

  2. I switched “Lighting:Global style” to “Anatomical anchor” (I think you’re model has uncovered a bug in “Parent curve reference”).

  3. I used a combination of “Lighting:Global anchor” and “Lighting:Global smoothing” to smooth out the normals.
