Spawned Units Not Using Assigned Texture

Im making a tower defense game and have units spawn. I started noticing that units were not the right color and thought it was a lightng problem. So i reworked everything to no avail. Then i through a cube in and made it solid black. But the cube that spawns is still using whatever texture it pulled from somewhere else. I cant find any mention of this texture in the blueprint for the ai or classdata.

After two days i think i found the problem,

changing this helped. however i want to completly remove the element and keep the mesh texture. how to i accomplish this?
