Hello everyone!
After a lot of though i decided that i wanted to take a risk and push the boundaries of what is possible on a mobile device and try to port over my game “Spartan” to Android. A 2d ( yes a paper2d game! You read that right…) action platformer that is way to difficult and complex for a touch interface.
Nevertheless i worked hard, optimized everything in order for it to even boot up and i believe that i managed to capture the essence of a full blown console game into a mobile device despite all its limitations as a gaming platform.
I would love the community to give it a go and give me some feedback regarding the game itself and if games as complex and difficult as mine are viable on mobile in general.
That would be an interesting discussion.
Spartan is extremely demanding since we are using real-time mesh deforms / physics motors and because of that i do not know if it will perform well on low spec devices.
But on an s8 or equivalent and above it runs super smooth !
