After update to 5.4.3 unreal keeps 90 gb of space on disk.
It should be around 30 gb, seems like it didn’t uninstall the 5.4.2 , but it should do that automatically? I have no other versions to uninstall on the library.
How can i resolve? (possibly solution different from uninstall and reinstall)
Hey @ThePliz!
Its a bit of a long shot, but have you tried verifying the files or deleting the 5.4.2 versions of the files and then verifying? If it does not scrub duplicate/excess files that do not belong in the engine, deleting the unneeded files then verifying will fix any corrupted files and restore any missing ones.
Let me know if this works for you!
Hey @ThePliz,
Checking in! Did the above solution work for you? D=o you still need assistance with the storage used?
5.3 default installation is 60Gb.
Maybe you have installed some plugins? The default plugins in my folder are 23Gb from that 60Gb total
Check Plugins → Bridge. The Megascans can be really heavy, even a random rock can take several Gb in size.
But someone that has 5.4 should check the folder size for OP, I don’t have 5.4 to check but 30Gb is not a realistic scenario.
