Sounds cancelling other sounds

Hey guys

So I’m busy setting up some audio in my demo scene for a college project. In one of the dungeon rooms, I’ve just run into a tiny snag. I’ve got spike traps playing sounds every time it activates + a fire brazier sound. Now the problem is, every time the spike trap audio plays, it totally cancels out the fire sound. What setting do I need to use to make it so both sounds can play at the same time?

Just another question, I have my fire sound cue set to be ‘looping’, however right at the end of the fire sound, there’s a miniscule pause before it loops. I’ve edited the sound in audacity, so there’s no ‘silent parts’ in the start or end of the sound. Any ideas as what to do here?
