I have a quick question. Excuse me if this isn’t the right place to ask these kind of questions but if I make a gun shot sound effect how many variations of it should be created for the same gun???
There’s not strict rule on this sort of thing - you could make one asset and then use pitch modulation in UE4 to get a few dozen variations. I would make 3, 2 as a minimum, because then you can make each one have its own distinct profile (maybe one is slightly longer or has a bit more kickback or a bit more top end).
