Sorting FAB search results by Rating does not work. When searching for specific query and then sorting by rating, the search is so fuzzy that the top rated results have absolutely nothing to do with the searched term. This makes the Rating sort essentially useless.
As you can see on the attached image, when searching for “lowpoly vehicle pack” and sorting by rating, the vast majority of top results do not satisfy any of the “lowpoly”, “vehicle” criteria, and some of them even the “pack” criteria.

Agreed and this is still an issue. For example: Search ‘Quest System’ in FAB.Sort by: ‘Rating’.
Of course as a user, you want to see which ‘quest system’ results are highest rating by buyers. If you select sort by ‘Rating’ you, there are two issues: The results become completely irrelevant, and you get results with a single rating (1 rating of 5 stars) which the results put at the ‘top’.
A more sophisticated search would result in more useful results. As a user, I want to see relevant items then sort those by ranking, and ranking should weight towards how many reviews they have. something that is 4 stars but 100 reviews should be considered more ‘quality’ result than pages of content that all have only 1 review of 5 stars.
Really disappointed in the quality of the FAB search functions here. The issue is the same for any filter, ‘Newest’, ‘Discount’ ‘Oldest’, etc. all of these results seem to not take the relevancy of the search terms into account at all.
