Sometimes textures break

I noticed that textures sometimes break. It seems to happen during save/autosave. After that they look something like this.

The funny thing is that I usually work on completely different things. Sometimes it’s models, sometimes blueprints, and then suddenly I notice it.
Re-importing corrupted textures fixes this, but I’m worried that this still happens and that something might be overlooked in a large scene.

All drivers, OS (WIN10), UA5, launcher, etc. latest version.

No crashes in other programs, games, etc. not noticed. I checked the disk where the project is located and everything is fine with it.

I remembered! 1 time it was that the textures broke and without saving / autosaving. It just all of a sudden became like this. I exited UA5 without saving, then reloaded my project and everything was fine.

It’s to do with running out of VRAM. Just re-start.

This will really help. But it’s sad that you can lose such a texture at a big level and find it on the release…
