Sometimes GetHitResultUnderCursor returns 0,0,0 on landscape

Sometimes GetHitResultUnderCursor returns 0,0,0. I’ve sculpted the landscape, but it still happens. I can send my project if need be.

This is a known issue. It could be one of several known bugs, most of which are still under assessment, though there is one (UE-11871) that is potentially an error with PhsX. We are still looking into the root causes of this error to find an adequate solution.

Do you need my project or anything? There is a spot on my landscape that always returns 0,0,0 even though it looks perfectly normal like the rest of the landscape.

Thank you for the offer, however that won’t be necessary. This specific bug is very easy to reproduce in a clean, blank project with no additional content.

For now using a sphere trace instead of line trace seems to help avoid the issue.
