Sometime recently working in Unreal Engine has become somewhat buggy with some things I’m trying to do, some of them being really basic things. I can’t pinpoint a specific time this happened nor can I pinpoint an action I took that directly caused this; it seems more or less like one day the issues just appeared and they’re very broad in scope. I notice these little bugs when using many different tools and many different plugins/assets from packs I’ve bought; so it’s not like it’s just one area that’s being affected, it seems like it comes down to the underlying files/code that run Unreal Engine as it’s also doing this across different versions of UE.
Anyway, is there a way to essentially ‘reset’ some of the files that run UE by copying config files that aren’t broken and using those to replace the config files in the projects that are having issues? (I have no idea if I’m using correct terminology/verbiage here, computer science is something I know basically nothing about, so I’m not exactly sure if what I’m asking here even makes sense, but hopefully I’ve made it clear enough to get a decent understanding).
