I updated my project from 4.21 to 4.25 recently and I noticed a few UI changes under the Play button as to how the multiplayer/listen server testing works. I don’t really know what all was changed, but I’m seeing that testing multiplayer is much slower now and it’s pretty frustrating. The listen server loads right in, but the client takes up to about 30 seconds to “connect” and gain control over the character. Would someone please look into this?
I’ve somewhat confirmed this has to be some sort of bug. I noticed that if I hit my windows key to get out of focus of both the client and server preview windows, the client gets connected much quicker. I hope someone at Epic reads this.
