An animated short created for the Unreal Film Jam, following the theme: “Oh, the places you’ll go”.

Synopsis: A robot in a mundane job finds a gift that will expand his horizons.

Programs used:

  • Blender (3D Modelling, animation)
  • UE4 (Rendering, cameras, lighting, scene setup, sequencing, procedural leg movement, procedural leg/step audio)

Thanks for the feedback! There’s some good entries to this contest (not surprising given the prizes) so I’m not sure I’ll make it, but it was fun to try a different style for once, I’ve never done any cartoon style animation before or purely animated projects so it was interesting to explore.
