It’s probably lumen. Try disabling lumen in your project settings and get back to us!
We can delve deeper if that doesn’t solve it, but it’s pretty likely!
Hey, thanks for the response! Disabeling lumen didn’t fix it unfortunately. These trees are from Quixel, I noticed that the werid artefacts are gone when I disable dynamic shadows on these meshes. Another thing is - I fixed some of the trees by removing “wind” (unchecked animate foliage on the material), but not all of them.
Ah, it’s probably bad wrapping. What I would guess is that this one simply has an error here- so what’s happening is what you physically see is not matching up to a static mesh and there are “Invisible” leaves casting shadows. I’d bet some of the leaves you actually see don’t cast shadows, as well.
