Some strands in Groom have a different color despite the texture

Hello. I’m testing Groom (UE5) imported from Xgen. The groom material is taking my Skeletal mesh texture correctly, but some single hair strands randomly appear all over the place. I created very simple textures on purpose to find out why this happens but I couldn’t find a reason. Am I missing some setting to avoid getting individual hairs grab the color from another part of the uv that it doesn’t belong? Thanks.
