Hello everyone, I did not find any answers about my question.
Here is my question :
I’m actually not elligible yet to the payout program. I’m new to UEFN and I have to spend 90 days in fortnite including 21 to edition.
I’ll be able to publish after 21 days of edition. Now my question is that will my game generates any money until I get elligible so for the next 69 days I have to spend into Fornite or will my map start generating money once my account gets elligble to the program?
If my map won’t make any money now for example, I think I would wait until my account is elligible to release it ?
I could be wrong, but I didn’t think you could publish publicly until you’ve met the 90 days in FN and 21 Creative/UEFN.
The payout system seems to be an unknown. I published a game in the middle of April and thought I’d see a dollar amount after May 1st, but haven’t seen anything yet.
I’m kind of waiting to see how worthwhile the payouts will be. My game had a little bit of success (about 6K plays for the month) so I’m going to gauge how much I get (if anything) and decide if I’m going to put a ton of effort into building really great games in UEFN going forward.
If I get a nickel for 5K plays, it will be telling.
In reply to Arthur, you will likely be under the payout threshold from my experience with the first payout, but the formula for the payout is unknown so I could be wrong. Payouts are sent close to 30 days AFTER the end of a given month. April earnings will be sent in the end of May, around the 30th. The earnings data will show up 4-5 days earlier than that in the old creator dashboard.
