[Solved] Substance 3D Plugin for UE 5.1 silently fails to download in Launcher

I am asking about this here to see if it’s a local problem before submitting a formal bug report.

I’ve been trying to install the Substance 3D Plugin to UE 5.1 since it showed up yesterday as being available in my Library tab of Epic Launcher. The plugin repeatedly fails to download when I select “Install to Engine” and engine version 5.1.

With debug logging enabled in the Launcher settings, here is what shows up in the launcher log:

I am able to install all of my other plugins for 5.0 and 5.1 without issue, and I have the Substance 3D plugin already installed in UE 5.0.

I’ve verified that this plugin is not in the Engine/Plugins/Marketplace directory tree for UE 5.1 and that it’s not in my launcher cache.

Are there any suggestions to fix this, or can someone else reproduce the issue to confirm that I need to submit a bug report? Thanks.

I think someone has reported this, saw in the Substance discord a mention of some issue with the app id. Hopefully fixed soon

Thanks. It appears to be working for me now.
