[SOLVED] FBX SDK Export failed

Hello,

I’m getting this error when I try to export as an FBX:

Exporting as an OBJ works fine.

I keep the FBX export settings to the standard.

How do I go on?

Can you make a screenshot of the export settings ? To check if there are really the DEFAULT values…

I deleted my C:\Users\<USERNAME>\Temp files, and although I have reconstructed my model from scratch, I get the “File not found” error from RC.

So, please allow another 3 hours before I post the file.

Can you perhaps plan to upload error logs to you (with opt-out)?

Please try to export it with different FBX versions to check if it is related to the single format or as a whole SDK issue ( alternatively SDK reinstallation )

Hi - I do not know if this helps but I had the same issue. Make sure your export path is not too long and refrain from using special characters in your path. My exporter said the same when I had an “ü” in the path.

Thank you, it was an “ü” problem in my path that crashed RC’s fbx export.

The folder name is English and the file cannot contain special characters, spaces, etc.

I also had the issue of sdk export error. I fixed it by switching from binary fbx to ascii fbx version. There is something going wrong in the binary export maybe the compression has issues with polygon counts above 150million?
