Went to activate it and was confused by the options so clicked the learn more link and got this error, both options just reopened the error. I had to end the RC process. It also spawned a bunch of IE processes that were not visible in windows but were in task manager.
On a side note, the options to activate for X days and agree that this limits the number of times I can activate it is confusing. Why not just check the licence each time it loads and prevent more than one instance running at a time? I think apps like 3D Studio Max does this and it happens in the background.

There is just a limit to PC swaps, 5 per year, the time of activation is not an issue, as you can set automatic license renewal on particular PC. There are settings how many days can be set on a particular license - PC, and it means that you can DISABLE the automatic renewal and use it say in field, when capturing data, and check on site and then come back and switch to the production PC…
As for the RC issue, what version of Windows are you using?
