[SOLVED] Align Leica Point Cloud

hi there!.

I just tried today this amazing software, but i have a little issue trying to create a model from Leica Scanner.

I have 2 PTX ( difenfents objects but the problem it’s the same )

When i import the single PTX ( in Recap looks right ) the import looks right.

but when i going for Align this is what happen.

Takes only 0.245seconds on “aling” so… something it’s worng because in the 90% of the times nothing on the 3d view appears, the other 10% appears everything collapse like in the last img.

There is any need in the ptx to get it works?

Are you using DEMO version or have PROMO-CLI-Full version ?

Yesterday we observed some problems with PTX files processed in DEMO version, so asking to get confirmation.

Its possible eventually to send the PTX files for inspection to milos.lukac@capturingreality.com

yep, i’m using DEMO version.

for sure, i’m going to send u the “worst quality of the two of scans” the other scan has 4gb and it’s going to be a little complicated to send u :smiley:

Yes need upgrade my RAID array with few 4 TB drives :smiley:

so the problem is the demo versión?

Just checking it to be sure. But from test done up to now its look for DEMO issues…

Yes its related to DEMO version in the paid versions its working flawlessly…

OK, recommend to UNINSTALL the DEMO first and restart PC to be sure and then install the PROMO version
