Hello! I’m a solo developer and I used assets created by me for this unique roguelite.

Single player and co-op!

Play alone or team up with your friend in local or online co-op! Work together to cause chaos and stream your wild adventures while traveling New York! It’s more fun when you’re surviving together!

Conquer New-York!

The whole map of New York is available for you. Each faction fights for every territory of New York.

Use cards to gain superpowers!

Each time you level up, you can use a card to gain a superpower. Together they create special combos. Which cards will you choose?

Create your own unique character!

Every character in the game is unique and you will create your own! Customize your character however you like. There are hundreds of cosmetic items available that you either get for free or from achievements.

Advanced NPCs.

Every character has a unique life. They have:

  • Their own personality (affects behavior and dialogues with them)

  • Style;

  • Inventory;

  • Job;

  • Faction;

  • RPG skills and attributes.

Hello @CubeOfSkill !

I’m a HUGE fan of these kinds of games as I find them fun to pass the time by or stream to friends. Will there be a personal space for users to customize and stream from when they’re not out in the world?

Thanx for being interested.

For now only AI is available to comment what we do, but later if everything will go right and I’ll manage to add necessary elements to the game, then l’ll add a feature that allows you to stream it to your friends.

Right now my top priority is to make proper AI because right now it’s full of bugs

Thank you for explaining this. Focusing on AI at the moment feels like a great move going forward, especially as you get things honed properly to your liking. I can’t wait to see what your next update brings!

Started making dev diary for this game. Check out Dev Diary Hittube: Week 1:

Next week I start making new builds for the game and soon a small part of it will be available as a demo on Steam

Made a lot of versions (0.10-0.16). I completely changed the game after turning it into Co-op game. It became much more fun! Soon there will be a video

New stuff:

  1. New controlling system (Input actions instead of input settings);
  2. Joystick control;
  3. Local co-op;
  4. Small fixes and features;
  5. New level;
  6. Optimization;
  7. Changed description and screenshots;
  8. Force feedback.

Updated a lot of stuff, the game looks now much better than before

One month later the game is completely changed.

Physics are fully finished

Physics takes a big step forward for the game overall. You can even use physics in character customization, check it out!

You can pick up dead bodies and do whatever you want with them (in this case, it’s the body of your co‑op friend). Move it, rotate it, jump with it. Hell, do whatever you like! Your friend is still useful even after death.

The best part of the physics is the destruction, which works well without any lag. That’s a great accomplishment for this week!

Optimization

Although the game is an open‑world shooter roguelite, its size is currently 743.35 MB, which is incredibly small. Each week I do everything I can to make it smaller and faster. It may sound awesome, but from a developer’s perspective it’s incredibly boring XD

Internet inside of the game has been changed

There’s special internet system inside of the game where you can see NPCs videos, news of what’s going on and comments of NPCs. The design has been completely changed and it looks awesome now.

I didn’t mention many of the changes, but there’s time for that in the next dev diary. Check out the new video that quickly shows what HitTube is all about!
