Autodesk maya
Substance painter
Megascans
Speedtree
I heard that just before the publishing of the game you could buy/get the commercial subscriptions and there would be no problem, if you did all of the assets/textures/materials in the student/free versions but I am not sure. Do I need to buy/get the proper sub. From the start or can I do it a few months before launch?
For example: I have the freelancer subscription, and just before launch I upgrade to indie subscription
Or I have the student version, I do all of my game assets here, and before launch I buy the software?
