Soft Reference not updated after renaming asset

Hi,
I’m using Soft References in several blueprint or Data Table, and noticed that if I rename the asset, the soft reference is not updated and still point to the old path (even after using FixUp Redirectors if needed)

Is that an intended behavior ?

It’s quite annoying and dangerous.

Hello! Just check it out on 4.23, everything is ok. Can you write steps to reproduce? Maybe I am missing smth
