Socket Visibility in UE 5.3

I am having a problem attaching weapons to sockets I created on my character in 5.3. The mesh just stay between my characters legs. Also the visibility of the socket is not working. I have attached a socket to my right hand and it does not show up in the view port, nor does the skeletal mesh show attach to the socket. I can move the the socket around but not the mesh that is supposed to be attached to it.

double check the origin location of your weapon whether by origin it already offset by some distance. (you can edit it from your blender file)

I figured it out. I was creating the socket on a copy of the mannequin. Once I created the socket on the original it appeared on the copy. I didn’t know if you copy a game object into another folder that changes had to be made on the original. Then they appear on the copy.
