Soccer ball physics

Good day everyone.
Please tell me what could be the problem.
Created a project from the first person. A ball is added to the ground
for which the blue print and physical material were created (all as per the instructions).
Everything is beautiful and seems good. Raised it a little above the ground, and when starting, it realistically falls and rolls away. But…
If you approach the ball veeery slowly, it seems to roll and even bounce a little, but if you approach it a little faster, it seems to slip away somewhere, fly away, and fall through. And he’s nowhere to be found.
I already set the weight to 10 kg, maybe it was too light, but it still disappeared ((((
What could it be?
Thank you

You can check the friction and damping settings for the ball. Adjusting these parameters can help control how the ball behaves when rolling. Ensure that the ball has appropriate friction to prevent it form slipping away too easily.

Thank you.
I experimented with damping and it worked.
True, at first, as the default, I set the values 1, 10, 15…
But it turned out that you need to set 0.01
