Can anybody please tell me how to make a snowboard mechanic like ssx 3 or ssx tricky. i cant find any tuts on youtube.
I have followed a super cool series on a hoverboard mechanic, but the way its turning/handling will never get the snowboard feel… i really appreciate any help.

I just wanted to throw out an idea for a different ‘base’ - I remember seeing something where someone was piloting a rolling physics ball (There used to be a rolling ball template in UE4) - but instead of just seeing the ball, there was a character and they were facing the same direction as the ball velocity.
Ultimately that might be another step away from realistic snowboard handling, but If you think that’s a path forward and have any trouble setting it up let me know!

You are taking the ‘impact point’ from the hit. (Make Rot from Z is unfamiliar) - But what you really want is the ‘Normal’ (This returns a vector that is perpendicular to the point hit) then the board can be aligned with the normal vector.
