Snow boarding physics like Zelda BOTW?

I have tried a few things with friction but I’m able to go up a hill without losing speed. Any way to gather and lose speed up and down hills?

I have no idea how the snow boarding physics work in Zelda BOTW. However, people used Ball Physics for snowboarding games, so you can check out the Rolling Ball Template and look if you can find something for your need. In the Template you can also try to exchange Torque for AddImpulse for your movement input. Obviously, you have to make sure you are using the correct Collision Responses and turn off the visibility of the Ball Sphere. <3
