I need to create roads at runtime through blueprint functions by reading TArray from other files. Are there any relevant tutorials or documentation?
Dear @GlimpseOfDawn,
I have developed a procedural intersection that generates a complete intersection mesh. I would like to integrate it with Snappy Roads. If you could help me with this, I can share my intersection to enhance the project’s versatility. If possible, could you provide me with your email or Discord contact information?
Thank you!
Hello.
I encountered a problem that the landscape is not deformed. How to solve this problem?
Hello. I have encountered a problem with landscape deformation. What could be the problem? The layer was reserved.
Hello,
Your tools are very nice!
Have you planned implementing instancing with ISM/HISM for better performance or isn`t possible?
Hi,
it’s possibile to change your assets with mine? Or a texture of it?
I had some what the same problem ,abut the roads would rotate after trying to adjust the road location . If I rotate them straight ,and move them .Aafter 10 mins they rotates the other way again . The same happens when restart unreal engine .
Unreal_Projects\CommandOrEngage\Content\SnappyRoads\Blueprints\BlueprintBrushes\BP_SR_LandscapeBlueprintBrush.uasset: [Compiler] Render : Usage of ‘Render’ has been deprecated. Please use RenderLayer instead.
how do i resolve this, the roads simply are not visible in Play In Editor mode using UE5.3 source build but are visible in standard UE5.3, movement mode is also set to falling when walking on invisible roads
nvm i had to unhide the replication category and turn on replicates and net load on client, since it’s a multiplayer game
I want to place an intersection right after another one, with a road smaller than the mesh, but the texture gets compressed. How can I fix this?
Hello ,do you find some answer? i have same issue
@GlimpseOfDawn Hello I have a question when ever I make a custom road to place In Snappy Roads . Once I finish placing them then hit deform after project spline nothing happens . When I use your static meshes the roads are solid landscape . Sadly I have never seen any way to fix any other roads to deform to landscape . I added the blueprint In landscape ,and really don’t know what to keep them now after . My question Is could you fix the custom deform not work . If not ,or to export spline mesh to static maybe till there Is a work around . Please and thank you I have been loving the improvements .
Hi there me again I have notice two things when snapping some custom models they always twist still even with the fix on . The second one Is the spacing between each point ,and static mesh In each spline as shown In the photos . The same thing still happens with my train tracks ,or tunnels . Is there any fix to this problem ? @GlimpseOfDawn
Can I use it in UE5.5?
