I have a third person/top down game where the character would use “grab component” to pick up a physics object, but when I do sharp turns (i.e.: from left straight to right), the object flies off. My guess would be that due to the quick change in location, the object gains a lot of velocity. I was wondering if there is a way to prevent the object from gaining velocity from turning, or if there is a node that could smooth out the transition so that the object doesn’t gain so much velocity.
side note: I tried using the teleport node but it doesn’t seem to work for physics objects, and having the object disappear then reappear isn’t exact what I’m looking for either.
