Small tutorial - masking water plane inside boat

While checking specific possibilities on masking water inside a boat to apply at the Community FREE Ocean Project, I decided to make a small video to explain the basics, even thou apply this in that project is a bit more complex because the material is big and there is also underwater effects to take into consideration.

Hi, thank you for the tutorial! I don’t understand what you did to the cone mesh that has anything to do with the masking effect, could you explain that?
