small space environment surface reconstruction (need help with alignment)

Greetings!

I desperately need some advice with alignment settings for a situation
like where i have to capture the bottom of non moveable objects with low space
between ground. (for like under a car, furniture etc.)

… made a few tests with a custom camera setup and produced like 1200+ images
that overlap or even cross paths with another camera path while taking shots

So basically i only have tiles/closeups and no totale image of  the surface to attach points to
and i struggle with getting larger components out of it that are straight and to attach points to
for stitching the unaligned parts together

hm… i feel lost - help much appreciated

thanks a lot in advance

cheers!

Hi,

could you send us a sample image of the part you are trying to reconstruct ? can you send a RC screenshot with after aligment ? Did you use default aligment settings ? No CPs ?

You have to greatly overlap at the transition. Bracketing (-1/0/+1 or even more) at the transition can help a lot, too, because the lighting could be very different and RC could get lost because of that.
