I’ve seen posts but none explain why to do this or how to stop this from happening
I create terrain then out of sudden zooming become so slow it in one minute zooming out like nothing happen
It happens because scale gotten bigger, so how to level design large map with fast zooming
I want to be able to navigate through the map in few seconds

I had the same problem and I fixed it like this:
1- Don’t use the scrolling wheel to navigate around or zoom in and out the scene.
2- Hold left click and move your mouse to any direction to navigate around. In case left click camera is slow do the 3rd step
3- Go to the top menu where you have the transformations tools and at the end you will see an icon called camera speed click it and adjust the camera speed to your liking.
