Slide Physics Confusion

I’m trying to figure out how to make a slide mechanic on a human character similar to the old Super Mario 64 slide.

Someone had mentioned to use a Vehicle, as CharacterMovement has constraints and unrealistic physics. Is this true?

Does anyone know how to go about making this effect for a humanoid character?

This could be achieved nicely with Physics Thruster Components.
