Slice a mesh like cheese

I am working on a mobile game and need to slice my meshes like cheese. Physics simulation should be applied to the cut part.

Unreal doesn’t support soft bodies, so you can forget any type of simulation.

If you want visual, there are a few shader material options, but in short, they all suck because the type of system you would need is a soft body, not a shader simulation…

Best alternative, animate an alembic geometry cache outside the engine…
