Slay Animation render

Hi all,

I keep trying to render animation provided by Epic games, which is “Slay Animation Sample”. After opening, I just go to render and press render locally without changing any settings. All goes OK till around frame number 590 when everything pretty much stops and the engine crashes after being stuck for several minutes.

Was doing some reading and what I did was:
*Add a registry called TdrDelay: How to Fix a GPU Driver Crash When Using Unreal Engine | Unreal Engine 5.0 Documentation

  • Changed my PoolSizeVramPercentage from 70 to 0 (unlimited) inside the WindowsEngine file.

*As well, R.Streaming.poolsize was increased to 23000 inside the engine itself

Just to add, my PC stats: Ryzen 5950x, RTX 3090, and 32 Gb 4000Mhz DDr4 memory.

Can someone advise me of where my issue can be, please? I added a registry file and a couple of screenshots from multiple renders

Any advise?

Hello.
There could be a million reasons. And which one, you probably won’t know.
My advice to you:
I completely removed the engine and cleared all registration files so that no trace of the engine remains in the system.
Then restart your computer and install the engine again.
if there is the same problem, then it means it’s not the engine, but Windows, somewhere some driver or program or virus affects your system.
