Slate Remote Plugin freezes Editor if enabled

Hi,

in UE4.13 “Enable Remote Server” of the Slate Remote Plugin is disabled by default, if I enable it in the Project Settings, the Editor freezes immediately. I could reproduce it with a blank blueprint project.

Binary Build Version: 4.13.0-3106830+++UE4+Release-4.13

Sorry for the delay on this.

I have tested this on both the binary build and the source build and both times the Slate Remote Plugin started enabled and when I disabled and re-enabled, i didn’t experience the editor freeze you describe.

Is there anymore information you can give me regarding this issue?

Sorry for the delay.

I could reproduce this freeze on another pc. I attached a sreenshot, where the freeze happens. If you enable “Remote Sever” in the Plugin Settings, not the Plugin itself, this freeze happens. I have quite old hardware here, maybe this could be a reason. However, I could observe, that the Editor slowly eats up my memory after enabling “Remote Server”.
