Slate Postbuffers in world widgets? 5.4

Hello,
Im testing out the new Slate Postbuffers in 5.4. I can’t find any information if it is possible to use them for 3d world widgets, they work fine when adding them to viewport, but in world the widget is just black.

Ultimately I would like to utilise them for VR stereo layers as this would seem to be a great way to achieve HQ frosted glass / blurry effect for UI elements. Similar to the UI design in Apple Vision pro.

Any dev here that can comment on this or point me in the right direction?
I can see in the public UE Roadmap that this feature was added by SHIRLEY MAN, but I can’t find anyone with this username on forums.

Hey there,

I dont have a solution but I played around with the thing and the only I found to get it to update when placed in world is to have also the buffer inside the UI in another material. Seems like it has to be drawn to the HUD to update. I haven’t tested this extensively but maybe this will hint you toward a solution.
