for a while now I have had this bugged sky dome material. I thought it was normal until somebody told it wasnt. Is there a quick fix for this? It seems to break at the top

It’s because you’re using a normal sphere for the sky mesh.
If you use a dome with the UVs projected from above, it’s probably better
is there a mesh for that in unreal?
Thank you. Unfortunately I think it is just the material that creates this problem. Your solution didnt fix it.
It’s not the material. That pinching you have at the top is the classic sphere UV problem
You still have a sphere, not a dome, I don’t think you followed the guide
If I put a test material on a normal sphere, I get
on my dome
I followed your guide, created a sphere, cut it and unfilled the hole, inverted the normals and projected the new uv but it still gives me the same result
