Skybox Limitations

Currently in UEFN, the skybox is quite limited in what you can do with it. You cant select it, scale it etc. My main problem is that the skybox is not a complete sphere, and it stretches down past where the horizon is. I am trying to create a space game so only having 180 degrees of the ‘space’ is a little disappointing.

In UEFN you can make your own skybox by making a large sphere and applying an HDR texture to it, but I am currently having scaling limitations. Seems to work for up to 5000M in game, but past that even with removing “is spatially loaded” it does not show up on console when close to center. Even though it still shows up on PC.

Good to know about this bug, since I use the same technique and don’t have a console to check on. Does UEFN have cube maps that we can apply to their sky?

My sky dome is about 30km across and that’s not huge if you want to convey movement.
