Sky-Atmosphere Model for Space Games

Hi All,
i like to develop a space game. Therefore i like to use the Sky-Atmosphere model of unreal . The Sky-Atmosphere model is very realistic and looks very good, but very limited in use only for on planet in a scene. How can developer develop space games like Stellaris or Galactic Civilization with this limitation? You now the answer. It looks good, but not like a atmosphere. Since version 4.27 the model is improved but not extented so that we can use it for multiple planets. On the marketplace there are projects to help you with this problem, but there are very limited in use and not stable.

Unreal Engine 5.2 says:

Can you render multiple planetary atmospheres on screen at once?

This is not currently supported with this version of the Sky Atmosphere system.

I really hope that the developer solve this problem, so everybody can make a 4X game.

I really was in love with X3, which I would not call a Grand Strategy game, but more of a trading, combat game, although technically it is a 4X game. I have been eyeing Nebulous Fleet Command fleet combat) which is on sale for the next couple of days at Steam, which I have read is challenging as you appear to have to micromanage all of your ships. Anyone playing this?

Just make your own planetary atmosphere material ? You don’t need to use the sky atmosphere if you are only going to see the planets from space (not inside of the atmosphere).
