I made a character using makehuman 1.02 and I was able to import it into UE4. I want set up a realistic skin material, but I am missing a few things (like a roughness texture). The problem is I don’t know how to create a roughness texture for my generated character. Is there anyway I can do that with GIMP or some other open source software?
Start with constant value of 0.4. Tweak from there.
I see just a few issues:
- How do I create a pore texture?
- I made my model from makehuman, which came with no normal map for the skin. Should I try to make a normal map at all?
