Sketchfab to FAB migration not showing up on listings

I have 40 models in my Sketchfab accounts. The post-migration listing on FAB isn’t showing even a single one. Initially, it only imported one. I thought I probably made an error while migrating. So I removed the asset, and tried doing the migration again. This time not even a single model got migrated.

This is how my listing looks:

Thanks in Advance.

I agree, I have a similar problem. Out of 600 models on sketchfab, only 8 were transferred here to fab, and there is no way to resume the transfer or continue it, it says that the transfer is in progress, although a notification was sent to the mail about the completed transfer of 8 models, and I actually have 600 of them. Thank you.

Hi Guys, I was missing about 1/4 of my models being migrated. I filled in a support request but it just referred me to there documetation which sent me in a closed loop of lack of information. I eventually changed the licence on my sketchfab items and they then migrated and i was able to re licence them here. Not thilled with this new platform so far compared to Sketchfab but i guess its early days. Not a single sale yet either. Not sure if people are even viewing them.

Hi CG_Deluxe, which license did you change the Sketchfab ones before migrating? That might be the trick for now.

Thanks in advance,
Sayantan.

Well it was a process of changing the licence/download properties on Sketchfab and see what worked migratted . I changed some of my models from Free Standard to Attribution and then some just took them off the shop to No download. Also some items i had to change the Promotional content tab on Sketchfab. Lastly i had a product which was an Wine Urn and i had to remove the word Wine as it wasnt permitted due to Alcohol! The store on Sketchfab is not operational now so taking the models to no Downloads might be the quickist way to migrate them and then relicence them on FAB.

Thanks. I’ll try these.

Nothing seems to work.

You need to make the models free on sketchfab and restart the import process. But this is very time-consuming, having 600 models and besides, they will be able to download them.

Exactly. I can still take the time. But the moment I set it as FREE, technically people will just download all these files.

This is very disappointing.

It still doesn’t migrate, even if I set the model on Sketchfab as FREE. This is so frustrating, that it’s actually hilarious.

Try changing on Sketchfab (Download - No) see if that works - other than that the Promotional content button .

Hi @sayantanb - I just checked your Sketchfab account and it looks like everything is set to No download. You’re saying you set it to Free (must be either CC BY or Standard), and still nothing migrated? You’ll need to leave them free on Sketchfab until the migration completes though.

Thanks for the heads-up. So you suggest, I set all my models as FREE and then let it sit for a while? As in a few days maybe?

Thanks, James. It did work.

as a tech opinion this migration is garbage. is it a duplication/sync of storage? as a consumer it’s crap too. sketchfab store is not functional, can’t check prices or anything. models that are sold as a passive income by rarely active users can’t be accessed at all.

Yes, the Sketchfab Store has been shut down. However, models should remain in a state that can be still be migrated, as long as they were eligible, and have not ben updated to No Download.

i get it. it’s a lot data to migrate automatically, to reroute/replace the shop and keep it running as it was.

those that still wanna sell their sketchfab models have to revisit them and “opt in” to sell on fab, now. hmmhmm…
