Sketchfab import autoscale or unit conversion feature

Hello

I know the out-of-scale issue is describedin the Sketchfab import FAQ but for me its not just some of the models that come like this , its the majority.

Is it possible to have an auto scale or unit conversion feature? That would save me alot of time or at least make the scaling more user-friendly. Do you scale it using the gismo or the number input on the right menu? The latter i find it too time consuming.

Hello ,

Thank you for posting in the community regarding this issue with scale on Sketchfab assets. We realize the limitation and problematic this causes thus welcome any suggestion or ideas. When scaling an asset typically you can do it with the Gizmo or the transform panel and type in the % values there for the X, Y, Z coordinates.

You can submit your suggestion to the road-map here:

At this time we are adding more features to the container folder for scaling of elements that will help scale some of those assets better.

Indeed, having at least an idea of the streamlined asset scales would be more than helpful.

Anyway, we can always guess by trial and error what is the correct scale compared to the environment and a human.

But sometimes, due to a lake of consistancy in the native scale imported model, it is time consuming to find what is the physicaly real scale in a given world, with potential errors from the user. I mean, we can import à lot of assets, created in a lot of different apps, home made or shared...

That said, thanks to all the work already done by Epic (UE4, UE5 & Twinmotion), Megascan, Skectchfab.

Thank you all and keep up the good work, we really appreciate it

Thanks! The feature to scale all elements of a container would really be usefull!
