Sketchfab need’s an update.
I don’t know if theres plans to keep sketchfab up. But a year later, I’m still finding uploads that never got migrated to Fab.
It would be great to see an update on the Sketchfab uploader for linking Fab the way a migrated asset would.
This is what an Unmigrated model on sketchfab looks like.
You have to link it in the description. If it wasn’t because a customer messaged me about it, I would have never known that this model wasn’t on my Fab Store.
Meanwhile, Migrated assets have this BIG SIGN, telling shoppers that they can get this model on Fab. Would be awesome to have this Badge on everything available on my store page.
Links in descriptions are useful, but not as effective as the 'GET IT ON FAB’ sign.
I think it would really help drive traffic to the platform as so many people still shop on Sketchfab for their 3D assets.
