skeleton

Hello
In my project in unreal engine ,i need to use a skeleton like the image below , but I failed to remove the texture of the model hero tpp.fbx or put it invisible in the window ‘’ play ‘’ (to view the skeleton) or to find a model that simulates the image is, Does anyone can tell me how to do, or suggest me a solution ?

It is difficult to understand what you are trying to do. Are you trying to:

  1. Use the skeleton in the picture but use animations from the Animation Starter Pack (or other source)?
  2. Use the skeleton in the picture but with your own custom animations?
  3. Use the skeleton in the picture with your own, unique character?
  4. Use the skeleton in the picture with UE4’s silver or blue character?
  5. Use UE4’s skeleton (hero tpp.fbx) with a custom character?
  6. Use the skeleton in the picture with a custom character but use animations from the Animation Starter Pack (or other source)?
  7. Other?

what i want to do is just so simple is to applied an Inverse kinematics method " FABRIK already exist in unreal engine "
to a skeleton bones without mesh , but I do not know whys things get complicated for just remove mesh from the skeleton
mesh and show just skeleton bones in the play mode .

I do not know of a way to have just the skeleton without the skeletal mesh in play mode, however you can do 2 things that may help with what you are doing:

  1. In play mode, type “~” to bring up the Console. In the Console, type “ShowDebug Bones.” This highlights the bones and shades the mesh.
  2. Create an Invisible Material utilizing the Alpha channel of your texture. Apply this material to your mesh. Show bones in the viewport of Persona or follow step one above to show only the skeleton.
