I am using a single skeleton for multiple character meshes and I set the skeleton to “Animation Scaled”.
At first this worked perfectly and all my meshes looked normal until yesterday when I was running some tests with a single girl scout model whose head is a bit lower on the shoulders, whenever I put my animation blueprint back to normal ALL of my other meshes head are lower on their shoulders.
The image below is what the Skeletal Mesh looks like without any animation on one of my characters. This is how it is supposed to look.
Below is what that same mesh looks like when it is doing ANY animation.
I can see the skeleton is still set to Animation Scaled but every single one of the animations seems to work only for the girl scout model where the head is lower between the shoulders.
It seems like every one of my animations retargeted themselves for the girl scout static mesh and ignores the skeleton.
